We didn't open a bar and add music. We built a sound system and put a bar around it.

Odioba is a hi-fi listening bar across three floors on Lower Hillgate, in Stockport's Underbank. The sound system, custom horn-loaded cabinets, a rotary mixer, a DJ setup, was built by hand and tuned for this room.

An independent space that treats music with the same respect as the drinks. The name is a homonym for "audio bar"

Old Pal has been addicted to vinyl since 1987. Rare groove to acid house, dub to techno, krautrock to electro. Outlaws Yacht Club, Balearic Social, Palm Trees Over Pontey, and his own night Strange Overtones for the leftfield stuff. Still hunting the ultimate cosmic banger.
